★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here on 05/11/2019 on a bike tour. Payed 30,000 for a double room with airco, which is way overpriced for what it was. No wifi available. The guesthouse wasn't very clean which was apparent already in the lobby. The room was dusty and the bedsheets did not smell clean. The ensuite bathroom was pretty disgusting. Don't think it had been cleaned for a long time. There was left over soap, toothbrush etc from previous guests.
The town itself is pretty grim as well.
Unfortunately this is the only place to stay between Mandalay and Monya. In hindsight we would have left early and covered the 130km in one day instead of staying in this overpriced dump.
