When we rate a place we need to be honest , hv to tell what is really there.
So for Kan Htoo.....
I woulf like to give only 2 stars. Foods taste just normal. We can not say very good. Sorry for owner . But i hv to say good or not.
Price a bit expensive for this level of restaurant, not cheap.
Foods still Very oilly , big potion , taste not very good. We can say Acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few minutes ago, my friend and I went to this place for lunch and we paid 6400 for a Kyay o si chat, an egg salad and a coconut noodle plus one ball of pork. I wouldn’t mind what we had to pay if it’s worth it but it wasn’t sadly.
First, they didn’t include the prices on the menus only when we asked they told us the price. I ordered Kyay o si chat for 3000, and then when we paid the bill, they said it’s 3500, they ended up charging only for 3000 but I don’t like the fact that the price is only in their mouths.
Second, the foods we ordered were not worth the money we paid. The vermicelli noodles in Kyay o si chat are some instant noodles (shin shin) and most meats are not chicken. And the egg salad was overpriced.
And they put side dishes on our tables before our orders arrived without telling us the price.
I didn’t expect grade A quality from this restaurant but I think I would never go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *Also labelled as Mohinga restaurant on Google maps. Little garden restaurant, off the main strip and not frequented by tourists. We went in the afternoon, and it was quite warm, so did not stay long, however, we were pleased with our simple and delicious meal of chicken prata salad, and shan noodle salad. We also had a large beer. The bill was about Kyat 5000 which is the same price as we paid for a sub-par tea salad at a top rated restaurant TA along the main road. We are happy we came across this place and would have returned for dinner if we had more time in Bagan. The owner speaks English and their is an English menu so we had no problems choosing our meals or communicating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The intricately hand-painted ceiling in this traditional Burmese restaurant goes very well with the incredible food! Order the Palatataup (?) or paratha salad with chicken and vegetables and you cannot go wrong! It was an explosion of flavors! The off-menu item, seaweed salad, is refreshing and delicious too! Kan Htoo may be a bit out of the way (it is 2 blocks from the main road) but it is definitely worth a visit. :) the owner speaks good English so it was easy to ask him for recommendations. definitely 5 stars!
