★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at market by boat at around 7am, went into the cafe ordered tea and freshly cooked donuts, we were the only westerners there and no one took the slightest notice of us. Wandered around for about an hour buying souvenirs like old Myanmar currency and local clothing. We left just as all the other tourist arrived. Go early to catch the sunrise and try the donuts

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an ordinary market, partly for locals and partly for tourists. There's a nice shop in the middle with decent coffee that isn't too expensive. I wouldn't recommend making a special effort to come here, but if it's part of your boat tour, it's not a bad place to spend half an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty cool market to go while in a boat tour! Very big and pretty local in some places. Try the tofu thing for lunch, it’s pretty delicious for 500 kyat :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You'll never want to miss the Inle lake's 5-days market in Nan Pan. Even it's quite muddy on the ground because of the big rain in the night before the day, we still got lots of fun. We had very good guide from our hotel owner, Daniel from the Weaver's Boutique Homestay. So we ate our breakfast there, and learned some stories about the market and the people in there.
