★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elite "Executive" class bus from Yangon to Bagan has filthy seats, I guess its VIP class bus is much better and cleaner but does not cost much more.
I had taken Shwe Mandalar company bus from Myawaddy to Mawlamyine, that company's bus is so much better and cleaner.
I wanted to book Shwe Mandalar morning bus from Yangon to Bagan but it was full, had to use Elite.
Foreign travellers reported Elite has good buses, but I guess only the VIP class is good, the other class is terrible in comparison to Shwe Mandalar.
I heard Shwe Mandalar company is owned by an European company.
Another bad bus company is PPT, I took it from Mawlamyine to Yangon, the bus was very filthy, had cockroaches crawling all around my seat.
In the entire 9 hour ride only one real toilet break and it was half hour stop for meal break, then there were two other times for "tiolet" break stops, there were no toilets, just people got off the bus and urinated in the open, even women urinated in the open without any cover while everyone looking on.
So called elite, what a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am given 1 star because the driver was drunk! I wish I had recorded it! When we stopped for "dinner", he was exalting alcohol, he could barely walk!! The bus departed from Yangon on the 31st Jan, at 9:30pm, plate 3076.
I do not recommend this company. I hope they understand that they are putting lifes in danger by having irresponsible drivers. I wait for a reply on this comment addressing this issue.
Aside from the revolting fact stated above, the drive was ok, the bus is comfortable but way to cold, Other companies will not make you get off the bus 3am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watch out for this company. I bought a ticket from Yangon to Nyaungshwe (Inle lake). This bus drop me on the Shwenyaung main street and told me this is a taxi and will take you to Nyaungshwe. 13km from destination where they should take me. Keep far away from Elite Express. Not recomending.
