The guide is poor at English but very friendly. He took me to places where I could see the sunset and toured the surrounding temples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cruise from Mandalay to Bagan. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, toast, jam, bananas, and coffee. Lunch was curry, you could choose between chicken, pork, fish, or vegetarian. Stopped at a river side village and bought bamboo hats. Enjoyed the longyi and thanaka presentation. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is possible that there are other cruises on the Irrawaddy. But there is no need to look further beyond this one. It was an upstream route from Bagan to Mandalay that was chosen. Definitely worth the money. Such care and courtesy extended by the ever smiling staff. The thanakha application and laungyi wearing demonstration shown by them was a beautiful display.
