★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay at Amazing Inlay Resort. The staff is so so nice, the setting is absolutely amazing and the food is great. We were traveling with our two teenagers and we stayed there for two nights, could not have made a better choice of where to stay on Inlay Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay will be much shorter than planned!... cold welcome , no personal available, lucky if getting somebody standing at reception, only 1 massage at spa possible at same time, waiting 25 mn for 1 cocktail with no taste, fish coming cold and not cooked etc.... I don’t know where the rating of this hotel is coming from, we will stay 1 night instead of 3, not one more. It is maybe low season but does not excuse such a low level,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only real problem of this hotel is that the staff doesn't speak English (other than hello/goodbye). Even worst, when you ask a question they don't understand, they just look at you without a word or calling someone who understands English better...
Because of this, we could not book our bus through them, not did we had any information about where the boat trip to would take us. For a 4-star hotel this is not ok!
Otherwise, the rooms are great, the garden is very nice, the food is good and the staff is very nice (if you don't ask a question ?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The “regular” rooms are not bad but just not as bright as on the pics. The staff is polite, their English could be better. My room had a strong smell of floor lacquer so I needed to push a bit to be transferred to another room.
The WiFi is not bad comparing to the average and can allow even video conversations at good times. Breakfast is good as well.
Beware that it’s not easy to get in and out (15000 kyat on tuktuk, 25000 kyat on a private boat). There are only 2 restaurants in ~20-30 mins walking distance, so most likely you’ll be eating in the hotel. The tasty meals are a bit pricey, but not to the extreme.
Overall, this is a good resort. Almost perfectly quiet comparing to those on the lake, the amenities are well-maintained and the aircon in the room can be put on heater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good for a 3star hotel. You cannot go anywhere quickly. You will need car or boat. Breakfast was disappointing but seems to align with similar hotels. They will ask if you want eggs or pancakes, bakery is doughy...but similar to other places. The rooms are nice and the views very good. It has a good pool. Drinks are pricey eg 3$for 1 beer bottle. 2$ for a tonic 0.5$ for a gin...staff is helpful and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb. The room was lovely with a colonial style decorated in white, mustard and black. It had a standing bath and then a shower enclosure. Staff was lovely and quick to clean breakfast plates or any spillages.the breakfast had a nice selection of European and Asian. The hotel is walking distant from other restaurants and drinking venues, some with live music. A truck will pick you and the suitcases to the room or reception. The pools were very clean. The place looks well design, one of the pools runs along the resort with areas that just cover your ankles to seat and refresh and also work as a feature with Gary lights. The builder NGS blocks interlink with small paved walks. Pretty and relaxing. The water temperature was warm so no shock to the system. The sea front was also maintained and any branches were cleaned up. Happy to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Inlay was one of the greatest hotel back in the glory days, now it's little bit old, nice & huge room area. Everything is clean, they do care about environment (reusable bottles, free refill, unless you request they won't provide single use brash, comb, etc). Have a decent pool, the bridge (where visitor voyage with small boat) is quit a photogenic area. Don't look around for boat, hotel got the best deal. Standard breakfast menu, have spa, small car parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to stay whilst visiting Inle, such friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were neat, spacious and had everything we needed. Only area for development would be the kitchen. They're quite slow with orders and the quality of the food can't compete with the local restaurants on the lake. Something worth considering on improving as it's not the easiest to get around the area so guests may want to eat in at the hotel more often than not.
