★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The doorm at the top is way to warm. Old ac which is not strong enough to cool down the room. Also you have to walk downstairs to go to the bathroom. There are better options for doorms. Doubleroom is fine with private bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful place. Very dirty, smelly and noisy. Non cooperative staff. Actually the worst hotel during my whole Burma trip. And most expensive. Only Burmese breakfast available, even after asking if toast was possible due to pretty severe sickness. I am not very demanding but cleanliness is one condition! When I left I asked the staff if they knew a post office, they offered to post my post cards. I am still waiting for the cards to arrive.. Very sad ending of a beautiful trip. Sorry, but really cannot name any positive. Well, the location then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a last minute desperate stay as we were late into Yangon and walking around with backpacks. It looked nice enough and was about 25AUD. However the bedroom was a bit if a let down. It was too hot to sleep with mo windows or draft. There was an aircon but it took me a while to locate the power box outside the room and turn it on. The kitchen was next door and rife with rats that we could hear all night. The towels were stained (blood?) and the bed sheets not awesome so sleeping bag inners were put to use - though to be fair we never asked for new ones. The shower/toilet room was reasonable. Breakfast was a skip given the vermin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed here multiple times over 10 years and find that this is a great oasis and guest house. There is a great social part with other guests if you choose or just be left to your solitude. Cold Myanmar beer 24 hours

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok, so there are apparently two Okinawa guest houses. Both within 100m of each other. Review for this is for guest house number one.
The guest house appears to be run by children. The person checking you in is a 16 year old boy who's English is just enough to check you in. That's all. I actually made a booking from Agoda and apparently they had no record of it. But still had a room available. So lucky? I guess. The door to the room is an old fashioned Key and lock system that doesn't work without jiggling the door and key for 5mins to try find the sweet spot.
The rooms have no hot water. Only cold. The power shuts off in the rain and you'll get a torch to use in the room.
The bed has bugs and you'll wake up with bite marks over you. The bed and mosquito net both had blood stains on them. I ended buying a bed sheet myself to use while staying here from the local shopping. Also no wifi at all.
This is honestly just a terrible place to attempt to stay. There are a lot better options for the money. The double room was 25,000 Myanmar money for one night. So around $20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located less than a 5 mins walk from Sule Pagoda, it's a small guesthouse located on a small street in a busy area. Lots of vendors, and you can purchase your bus ticket on the same street. I booked one bed in a 4 or 5 bed dorm. The mattresses were on the floor with a mosquito net. Even though there was AC, it was still very hot at night. I attract mosquitos fairly easily, and woke up to more than 10 bites all over my body, even though there was a mosquito net. The bathroom kept running out of toilet paper. The only pros about this place is the location, as well as the breakfast. Otherwise, you pay for what you get here, and bring toilet paper.
