You can have a few options to redeem your gold:
- respective principal+ interest
- extend the period of loan by paying interest (you have to extend no later than 4 months of the date you pawned)
- slowly payoff the loan by partially paying the principal + interest
- request for additional loan on your pawned gold if eligible
Within 15 days—> 1%
15 days after --> 2%
Most pawnshops in Yangon have an interest rate of 3% per month. They don’t have short term loans (within 15 days --> 1%) so you will have to pay 3% interest even if u pawn for 1 day.
Very pleased to pawn at this shop and their service rendered.
Highly recommend this shop if u need a short term loan at a lower interest rate and very helpful staff who can advise you financially.
