BASIC EDUCATION HIGH SCHOOL NAWANAGAR This school is in Nawanagar village, close to the Sittaung River, if you go from Zeyawaddy, then you have to get off the road in Pyaung Thay and go to the right side and continue ahead. You have to cross Khin Wine, West and East Kyu Inn, West Nawanagar. then you will be arrived to this High School. It's addressed to center of East and West Nawanagar. You can also call in Htan Kone Village because North and South side covered by Htan Kone Village, Ah Mae Khaung Village Track, Phyu Township, Taungoo District, Bago. This is my childhood school (Primary School). We studied primary classess in this school. Later the school committee try to become middle school and it became a middle school. Even after this, they efforts continued and today it has become high school.It is a matter of great pleasure that all the students of this area will be able to study higher education in this school. At our time, We attended Kyu Inn school (Joint School of BEMS Zeyawaddy) from grade 5 to 8 four years. We had to walk 5 Km to school and return 5Km daily. We had a lot of trouble that we did not have high school in close.It was only possible to study either you go to Zeyawaddy or Phyu. Poor villagers could not afford to study in town. Today the children of the village will not have to bear all those problems. Therefore Today I am very happy that high school has been established in our village. All the children of the villages around here will be able to study up to matriculation easily, which will be easy for the villagers to study. Villagers are buried under poverty. It is very difficult to teach children by sending them to the city. Poor children are not able to study. Right now the school project is also going on, when it will be complete, it will become very big, children will get a lot of facilities as well, there is also a football ground on the side which helps children to play football. The road has also reached the school, electricity has reached, now the children will be able to take all the facilities of the city in the village too. In the last I would like to say that it is the constant effort of the school committee that has been successful today, otherwise it was a very difficult task, the school committee worked hard day and night, doing something continuously from the beginning. I remember my grandfather was also on the committee that was always engaged in how to take the school forward. Thanks to School Committee and teachers of Nawanagar School.
