Aung Nan is the name of village located in Yesago Township, Magway Region, Myanmar. Aung means the victory and Nan the palace. This name of village was newly called since 1999s. Regionally It was also known as Chaung Zone_ the confluence of water routes_ and Ywa Nge_the little village in previous time before 1999s. The cultural landscape of this village could directly be related to the royal officials and elites of Konbaung dynasty. The Buddhist religious edifices_ stucco stupas, sima the ordination hall, Zarap the rest houses, brick monasteries, murals, glass mosaic, unique style of motifs, cosmological figurines_ are still existing under the custodians of Aung Nan villagers. Historically it was including the five villages (Thapyae Nga Ywa) given to the Royal Minister U Kaung (Kinwan Minkri U kaung) by King Mindon in 1218 ,ME (1856 CE).
ပခုက္ကူခရိုင်အတွင်း ရေစကြို-လင်ကတောလမ်း၏ လက်ဝဲဘက်တွင် ရေစကြိုမြို့နယ် အောင်နန်းကျေးရွာ တည်ရှိသည်။ ယခင်က ရွာငယ်၊ ချောင်းဆုံငယ် အမည်များဖြင့် ထင်ရှားခဲ့သည်။ အောင်နန်းရွာမှာ ရှေးယခင်က ပခန်းကြီးမြောက်ဘက်တွင် အကြွယ်ဝဆုံး၊ အချမ်းသာဆုံး သူဌေးသူကြွယ်ပေါများသော ရွာကြီးဖြစ်သည်။ မြန်မာသက္ကရာဇ် ၁၃၁ဝ(၁၉၄၈ ခရစ်နှစ်) ပြည့်နှစ်က အလံနီ နှင့် ဖဆပလတို့ တိုက်ပွဲဖြစ်ကြရာ တစ်နေ့တည်း လူ ၄၀ ယောက်ခန့် သေဆုံးခဲ့သည်ဟု သိရပြီး ရွာသည်လည်း မီးလောင်ပြာကျခဲ့သည်။ ဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်း ၁၁ ကျောင်း မီးထဲပါသွားသည်။ ကျန်ရွာသူ ရွာသားများ ရွာတွင်မနေရဲဘဲ ရွာစွန့်၍ ထွက်ပြေးခဲ့ကြရကာ နောက်နှစ် ပေါင်းများစွာကြာမှ လူစု၍ ရွာပြန်တည်ခဲ့ရသော ရွာကြီးဖြစ်သည်။ (***ဘုရားအတွင်းနံရံတွင်ရေးမှတ်ထားချက်အရ ၁၃၁၀ ခု တော်သလင်းလဆန်း ၁၂ ရက်နေ့တွင် ရွာနှင့်ကျောင်းကို မီးရှို့ခံရ၍ လူပေါင်း ၄၀ လောက်သေသည် ဟုရေးသားထားသည်ကိုလည်းတွေ့ရပြီး သေဆုံးသွားသူများ၏အမည်များကိုလည်းရေးသားထားသည်။ ချောင်းဆုံရွာ (ခ) အောင်နန်းရွာသည် ကင်း၀န်မင်းကြီးဦးကောင်း အပိုင်စားရခဲ့သော သပြေငါးရွာတွင် ပါရှိခဲ့သော ရွာတစ်ရွာ ဖြစ်သည်။

Aung Nan Village, Yezakyo Township, is located on the left side of Yezakyo-Linkada Road in Pakokku District. Formerly a small village. He was known as Chaungzon Nge.
