They should change the car entrance fees from 200 MMK to 100 MMK. If you are look likes a stranger, they will ask you 300 MMK or 500 MMK for yours car. Just give them 200 MMK only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So great when being here in the late afternoon to see sunset or at night to feel each wind.
One of the must-see things is seagull, when they make the sunset more beautiful than ever. You can buy some snacks or sweet ball cake to feed these birds, and make them fly so close to you.
In addition, many youths come here to play guitar, sing and have talk. It is a real space for freeing your mind after work or study.
Another thing, it is located near the very famous and same name pagoda (with fee for foreigners to get in, free for local). But if you chose Shwedagon pagoda before, no need spend money here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and clean place to walking and jogging. It's near Botahtaung Pagoda. You should enter to Botahtaung Pagoda first and then go to Botahtaung Harbour... Morning or evening time is best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very popular port/jetty for sunset cruise and locals to enjoy evening especially during weekend. Nice view of the river with locals crossing to the other side using small boats. Seasonal birds are common sighting at the port in Dec/Jan. There are many small restaurants along the river with grilled fish is most popular. Towards east side u can see beautiful floating hotel. There is also a nice restaurant on the river bank, suitable for foreigners.

The laung-zat is a traditional Burmese river vessel and was used to transport rice to Rangoon (Yangon). In the 19th century rice was Burma’s main agricultural crop and its largest export. The boat’s distinctive profile is clearly shown: a long, narrow hull, with a high stern, and lower bow swept up from the bottom. At the aft end the helmsman sits beneath a shelter on a raised seat . A beam view of a laung-zat or paddy boat moored at the side of the Irrawaddy River .
