★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place to stay in Hakha safe of sleeping out on the street. The fare announced by the receptionist was 30,000 mmk/night, but when we got to pay the manager wanted 40,000 mmk...
30,000 is already a major rip-off given that no towels, no water, no soap, no tissue. They did provide a kettle but no cups, I guess we were supposed to drink hot water of our bare hands. We did had hot water in the bucket shower. During the night the manager downstairs kept smoking cigarette after cigarette and the smoke went strait into our room. The receptionist visited us three times during the evening to ask us to walk quietly in the room because of the noise, but we could hear them talking and shouting downstairs!
And finally, service with a smile is a totally foreign concept to them. I will never go back there and you should do the same
