★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a stellar hostel. It's really well decorated and very chill. The breakfast is great and the staff are A+ and speak fantastic English. On one cold night they even had a roaring fire going in the fireplace! I've never seen that at a hostel anywhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place lives up to its name. What a dream! Amazing place to stay and explore the area, especially the Taunggyi fire balloon festival. The owners were so generous and helpful. They even arranged a free shuttle service to transport us to the festival each day and even to our next guesthouse in Inle Lake after we had checked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool theme painted for different rooms. Toilet is quite small for bunk bedrooms but other than that, it is very clean. Laundry is good but clothes smell weird due to uneven weather (sunny, rainy, sunny). Owners are very friendly and hospitable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angela was so kind and hospitable in this fascinating little castle. She let me in at 5am, upgraded my room, drove me around town, cooked me homemade meals, arranged my ongoing bus ticket, and gave me local medicine when I was sick, all of her own initiative, I didn’t ask for anything. I’ve never been met with such level of hospitality and welcome, I’ll never forget my stay here. Thank you for running this beautiful place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is so nice and she helps you in anything you need. You can rent scooters, but bus tickets, wash your clothes, change money, they have pick up service at the station. You can try here very good traditional burmese food, so cheap.
Breakfast is good. They use handmade jam and peanut butter.
They have a terrace where you can chill and a swimming pool for the hottest days.
Rooms are clean and wide.
Cheapest place in Taunggy. Totally recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The host was really nice to early check me in without extra charge when I arrived at 8am. Love the Shan noodles for breakfast, cheap price on scooter rental. Enjoyed the piano in the dinning room!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The Guesthouse was light and airy, really big and the rooms were very comfortable- we slept really well in the beds and the rooms had AC and fans to keep us cool. There is also a nice roof terrace to relax and read books or have some food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, helping us out with free shuttles to the places we wanted to go. They also had lots of helpful advice for best onward travel routes, going out of their way to help save us money travelling around the area. Breakfast is good, especially the yummy Shan noodles!! We stayed here for the yearly Taunggyi balloon festival and would recommend anyone else travelling here for that to do the same..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at the hostel at around 5 AM in the early morning. The host woke up and helped us checking in so we could spend some time sleeping. They served some cheap stir fried dishes so you don't need to be worried about anything to eat around the countryside (Vegetarian is also welcomed!). You can rent a motorbike from the hostel and ride around the town or spend about 30 minutes of motor time to Taunggyi City! You will be pleased!!
