★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a Whole Street - 28th Street (in the Middle Block of Yangon Down town ) that has all Electrical items of Domestic use & Industrial use selling the wires , cables, telecommunication wire/ strands electrical equipment's all types such as measuring instruments, inverters, regulators, etc, etc, lighting equipment's including light shades. The whole street have these electrical shops in whole sale occupying the ground floors in each apartment building.
Apart from Electrical items the street also houses other hardware items, cellophane tapes, chemicals, furnishing items, tarpaulins, etc in large numbers.
The street which was once (several decades back) so much clear to allow children to play on street, is now infested totally with cars & vans except on the Independence Day on 4th January to enable conducting of sports events for children in the respective streets!
