There was not 1 single thing I could criticise this place with. Amazing service. Great signage. Fair prices listed. Free water, coffee and tea. Really good quality bikes with several to choose from, and they even charged us only a half day when we came back late on our last day.
Couldn't have been any better. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! Renting from them was the first time in my Southeast Asia experience (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam) where everything on the bike worked. Odometer, speedometer, gas gauge, lights, horn, EVERYTHING! For that, alone, I would give them 5 stars. On top of that, the staff was friendly and helpful. When I told them where I wanted to go, they gave me a map, made extra notes on it for me, and made sure I knew how to get to my destination. We liked them (and the beaches) enough that we rented again a second day. Thanks so much, Focus!! I would rent from you any day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner of Focus Dawei Rental, Mr. Au, came along for two full hours to help me find parts and a very good mechanic to solve a clutch problem on my own bike I had ridden all the way from Mandalay. When I offered money to compensate him for his time (remember, I'm not even a customer!) he flatly refused to take anything. Without his help, including translation at the parts shop and at the mechanic's, I doubt I would have accomplished much at all, and certainly not have solved the whole problem in just a few hours. Excellent, honest, and helpful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented two motorbikes from them for a couple of days and they were flawless. Owner and staff are friendly and speak good English.
Don't book busses through them, however. Turns out the 'small car' they were referring to was a pickup truck that was packed with people. So I spent the six hours on the super bumpy and dusty road to the Thai border on the back of a pickup truck together with 7 other people and lots of luggage. The ticket was far too expensive for this.
Friends of mine booked through their hotel and got a proper seat in a minibus, so there are alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing owners! Very caring and very attentive! I am not an experienced driver, so they patiently showed me how to ride a scooter, made sure that I feel comfortable with the vehicle and only then let me go. Gave a map of the area and recommended places to go given my time restrictions, explained in detail the road and what to expect. Bring your driving licence - it is required to rent a scooter from them. Prices are very reasonable - ~$6 for a day for a semi-automatic, ~$7 a day for an automatic, fuel not included.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely good experience. We rented two motorbikes from this lovely guy who came by car to pick us up at the guesthouse. 9000k per day each. The bikes are in very good condition, easy to ride and smooth. We had a proper contract, tips and directions about the beaches, trial for the bikes and good helmet. They were really friendly and honest. We had absolutely no problems!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For sure the best place in town to rent a motorbike. The condition of the offered engine, the service and price are amazing. The staff and the owner itself are so friendly and helpful. They will provide you all necessary informations. Whilst you're waiting and having a chat you can enjoy a free coffee, tea or water.
It's a good place to book a bus ticket or the van service to HteeKee too, the Thai border.
This place deserve 10 stars, not only 5.
