★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good fresh market. Personally I would not buy a lot here, maybe some chilli, but to watch people go about life is awesome. I have seen vegetables I did not know existed. So many types of aubergine and chilli and I have been around a lot of markets in SE Asia.
Very busy and very interesting. Would fail all health and safety regulations in Europe, but this is Myanmar and this is a beautiful slice of life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the biggest food oriented local market in Yangon. You can get almost everything that can be eaten here. Lots of sellers, lots of buyers, very limited space, sometimes even vehicles in between. Busy, noisy and chaotic. In short, exactly as a (not only) Asian market should be. ;)
