★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a word of warning. There are two types of boat leaving from this jetty to bagan. One is the slow boat leaving Sunday and Wednesday at 530am! The fast boat leaves from the jetty as on the location on google maps but the slow one leaves south from there more like little bit south from the 35th st. At night there are no lights and locals don't speak English so I think this info is good to know!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't call this a jettys, it was a set of concrete stairs separated from the water by rock and mud. Tread carefully. Also watch the kind people who offer to carry your bags. They are either going to charge you what they want for providing the service or they are a taxi driver you are now committed to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leaving Mandalay at 7am, arriving at Bagan around 5pm. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea/coffee served. Seating choices in the sun, covered deck or inside aircon rooms, but passengers move around a lot. Its not the cheapest or fastest way to travel and slow and hot! But a slow, social way down the Irrawaddy river.
