★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park was great but there is a lot of construction happening right now which made it harder than normal to navigate around. The new paths they are building are going to look beautiful though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome lake view and comfortable nature environment. A place just like central park of New York, allows you to leave the hactic busy and crazy traffic jam in the city. Regularly visited by locals during weekend and holiday. Wood bridges connecting islands lacked of maintenance, be careful when visit.

Good for walking, as well as children can run and play in this park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool city park. The main attraction is seeing the crazy gold restaurant with the war ducks on the front of it. There's also a nice view of Schwedagon Pagoda over the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ General Aung San Park is a great outdoors venue, one of the best that I have seen in Southeast Asia. The locals love it. Many of them visit after work alone, in couples and in groups. I sat, watched and listened to a group of people who were having a picnic. One of them had brought his guitar along. The others sang. It was genuine fun. Young lovers come here probably to have privacy away from home. Simply walk around in mid-afternoon for unique experiences of your own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Running track is made available right behind General Aung San statue. Lovely terrain but short track. Although the track poses not strikingly attractive, soothing and cool lighting at night adds more spices to its enjoyable greenery.
