★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay with great location. They were really kind to help us with any question we asked. We also got the day tour with Mr. Zaw Win (at reception almost every morning) who took us to Bilu island, shampoo island, pagoda and out of guide book views. You should take a tour if you do not want to get tired!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service level is quite high here, the infrastructure of the place is completely mad though. There's some type of electric pump, probably for the water system that intermittently turns on and off all day and all night somewhere in the wall or ceiling of room 413. The concrete structure creates a resonating cavity in the room that reverberates the sound straight through your earplugs. In the morning, some other intermittent waterpump operates the hot water for the shower. You get 3 seconds of cold water fallowed by a blast of scalding hot water, followed by cold water.
I don't know how to possibly fix these problems, they seem to be built into the building. I wouldn't recommend it for sleeping or showering, which is the main function of a hotel room, so.... pass on this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ + Hands down some of the most helpful staff I encountered while traveling through Myanmar! The owner was most helpful with suggestions for the surrounds and by assisting with the retrieval of a bag I lost whilst in transit. He even helped to book buses in a completely different city. His mastery of the English language was on point.
- The rooms were very basic, not the cleanest, and smelled of moth balls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best quality for the low price. I stayed in single room with private bathroom. Very clean room and inside building. Good working AC. Clean toilet. Clean bed sheet, pillow and blanket. Have clothing rack. Flat screen TV. Good wifi.
Helpful owner. Good location, quiet street, close walking distance to Ocean supermarket and mall, night market, many restaurants nearby, all within 10 to 15 minute walk.

(Always available 24/24, flexibility about Check in and check out, good breakfast, cheap rental motorbike and taxi to go to bus station...).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the price a very good deal. Good walking distance to major sights and pagodas, also river side. AC seemed to work only on very cold mode, the rooms aren't very sound proof and breakfast is pretty oily but the people are nice and for this price you get a lot. Bus tickets and other services can also be organized.

The owner gave me very good directions to how to get a local bus (and the later when the locals were getting confused those directions made me get there). They helped so much with everything. I highly suggest staying here.
