★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a shame that it's a little bit hidden away, so not many might find it easily. but maybe that's why this is a hidden gem. The food is great, stay very friendly and the location, looking out on serene lush trees...listening to the birds chirping. Amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Kalaw - as other reviews have said it’s a shame this place is not known by travellers as it’s a little piece of heaven. Nestled amongst nature in a very peaceful and relaxed area of town (definitely worth the 15 min walk from downtown). This place is perfect for solo travellers, couples and families.
The food is fresh, delicious and made completely from scratch with love. The owner is the sweetest lady, speaks English and is very hospitable.
I’m vegan and there were plenty of tasty healthy options, I ate the avocado salad, mustard leaf salad (delicious!), mixed veg curry and was given some complimentary fresh fruit at the end - so was extremely satisfied - all for 4,500 kyat!! I will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and awesome hospitality! We got some guava wine and fruit as dessert for free. The lady who owns that place explained us about the food. We had a great soup and veggi curry.

Everything was amazing :
- The place is peaceful and quiet
- The staff is awesome, the lady who was cooking is very friendly and speak a good English
- The homemade wine tasting was a good experience and a plus, food was fresh and made with love for sure, we had so much meals and for a reasonable price, veggies are good and the chicken curry with tea leaf was unbelievable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run by this lovely lady and her husband, this cosy little place is truly worth the visit in Kalaw. Food is great and fresh, takes a little while to prepare because of it so keep that in mind. We were alone and waited 45 min or so. Price is fine to. We had 2 dishes each and payed around 5000 Kyat per person.
