★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place we have eaten in Myanmar. Worth travelling from Ngaung Shwe, we went twice - great for lunch or dinner. If you chat long enough with the lovely husband and wife duo who run it, you may be invited to try their special banana pudding

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic gem of a restaurant. We wanted to get out of our resort and found this place while cycling. Food is fantastic and the staff are really friendly, plus the prices were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot recommend Home Made Restaurant enough! It was so fantastic that we ate there multiple times over our visit there. We ate Malay noodles, braised pork knuckle with Shan tea leaf, Grandmother's beef curry and a chicken and jackfruit curry. It was all absolutely amazing with more than reasonable prices. On top of this, the cocktails served were also incredible - fresh, generous servings and absolutely tasty. The lady who runs the restaurant is also lovely - she was attentive but not overbearing and nice and easy to talk to. If you're around Inle, definitely make the trip to see her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious traditional food, better than in our hotel and just walking distance, we had papaya salad, chicken curry and sweat and sour chicken!!! lovely service by “Edida”, nice Inle Lake wine too! Great prices would highly recommend it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beers half the price of the resort you'll be staying at. Big food menu, very nice owners. Clean, nice outdoor seating. Clean toilets. Food was fantastic, best we have had in Myanmar. Partner had the whole river fish - 10/10. I had the chicken with young coconut, very good 8/10. Seen another's avocado salad, piled high with fresh avocado, looked amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap and good quality food. You pay half the price from resort restaurant. The soup and pork dish were really delicious. We had a hearty meal especially since it was the cold season in Myanmar. Service was rather slow, nevertheless I give a five star rating to this restaurant!
