Hotel ACE

I totally loved being here.the location, the beach front...the huge swimming pool, the small private bunglows...the sound of sea breeze and crashing waves outside...all are exciting. The restaurant however doesn't have commendable food menu.

We arrived at Ace on 1 June 2019. Admittedly we took the cheapest unit , and we knew it was a low season special - but it was still 32USD per night!!So how can the hotel give guests rooms with no towel racks (the holes were in the bathroom wall where the towel racks used to be). How can the hotel not check the TV is working? ( we called a technician out at 9 pm). General maintenance in the unit was poor - water marks, broken bathroom walls, issues with toilet flushing, marks on the wall. Cupboards with no doors. And how can they accept the booking without telling us they switch the electricity off CENTRALLY from 6 am to 12 noon. and again from 3pm- 6 pm. Which also means no power to the plug outlets during that time - so no charging of cellphones or making coffee/ tea. NO AIRCON. Breakfast was average. And the stream running through the property had litter floating in it - we understand that the hotel can’t be responsible for the significant litter on the beach, but how hard is it to scoop out the litter on your own property? On the positive side - Great swimming pool Loads of towels in the room Direct access to the beach. If you do stay here make sure you eat at Chai Thai , a local eatery 100m to the right of the main gates. ( standing with your back to the beach). It was brilliant food and English speaking owners. We had booked for 4 nights. We left after 1 night. It didn’t feel like a beach holiday- it felt like hard living!

great location and great view but bad service.we got 3 rooms and have same problems. bath water heater is not working. room is not clean. rusty refrigerator with bad smell. building isn't maintain well and dirty. i give 2 stars for only good location and view. for price it charge its not worth it

It got nice view and good location. Its structure is pleasurable, having large pool, wide spaces, nice building structures. But the maintenance is extremely bad, cleaning services are worst, even some smell. It had potential to be on top list, but it's ruined by themselves. But not helplessly, hope it finds a way to be perfect.

One of the best location in Ngwe Saung. Rooms are massive, view is nice. Need proper maintenance services and pest control.

It has nice Sea view, best and large swimming pool and I Love the design of buildings. The beach in front of hotel is nice to swim because there is no very sharp rocks. They have better service.

Very polite and helpful staffs. We arrived here so early, 4 am. They provide us space for sleep. Room is nice and wide, sea view. We enjoy food here also. You need to order ahead. Pool is here, clean. However, some furnitures are old. Anyway, they are still functioning. Electric runs from 1pm to 3pm and at night, 6pm to 6am. I like this hotel. We could enjoy swimming in the ocean. Close to love island.

The view is super, service almost good except food catering service.I would recommand that you buy food from outside if you stay in this hotel.There are good point and bad point about this location but if you can tolerate the food and some bad service the view is worth it.
