Hotel Majesty

The hostel has rich green environment. The green plants outside the hotel are awesome.

It's a good hotel run by a local. Food are weak. Room charges are expensive. However the facility is competative to others around the town.

Kalemyo (Kale / Kaylaymo) is a bit off the beaten path for most Americans, but it's a great place to visit & mingle with the wonderful Chin. Hotel Majesty is beautiful, majesty is a fitting word. Multi lingual staff, very affordable (120 US dollars bought me 4 nights & great breakfasts). WiFi is available in the restaurant & lobby (both are air conditioned). High powered gabs keep the rooms cool. I love the swimming pool & koi pond, too! I look forward to coming back!

Fewer choice for Breakfast. Hotel has its own pool but they also accept outside guests for accessing the pool with charges. So, there will be a bunch of people at the pool. :S

Don't book the suite. Total disaster. The loud hum of machinery on the floor above can be heard like you have a 150kva generator sitting on your head. They assure you that it stops at 10pm and only restarts a few hours before breakfast time at 6.30am. Don't take any rooms near the elevator either. It klankaty-klanks up and down the shaft. The hotel seems to be prepared to convert into a hospital or maybe converted from a hospital to hotel. It has white tiles up to the ceiling on all walls of rooms and corridors. The toilets have frosted windows in the room so the light in the toilet flood the room. And then the elevator; it's a hospital bed elevator to transport patients and equipment.

One of the best in town. There in no hand phone signal inside the rooms and no internet connection was accessable. You might feels completely cut off from outside world. Hotel provide their own wifi signal but the service is pretty poor and unreliable.

It also takes 10 minutes ride to Kalay Bazar which is located in the eastern part of Kalay City

A clean and decent hotel in a rural area like Kalaymyo. Wide, well lit, clean rooms with hot water provided. A moderate sized swimming pool is also present. A meeting room with spacious dining hall attracts local meetings, gathering, talks and events to be held. Provideds a good wifi internet. A top hotel in the town. Recommended.
