★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spend 3 days in Sittwe and the Memory Hotel is by far the best there is in the city. The room was clean with very nice bed linen and super thick towels. Plenty hot water and good working air-conditioning. The front desk staff speaks some English and organized boat ticket for no additional fee.
Breakfast was excellent with huge variety of foods and made me a to-go box the morning i left. The restaurant served good cocktails at dinner and better than average food. To me it's the only place to stay on Sittwe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elevator is so small. It may not be suitable to be used in such a hotel. Mosquitoe is in the room. Need to run mosquito spray small device. Good Internet, clean room. Service is nice. Food is prefect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving this comment based on the room I am given. Room is small but it's not tiny either. It's very clean. I am lucky to come at this time because Hotel Memory is celebrating 4th Anniversary. We were treated with dinner. Food was tasty too. Staff and nice and lovely but there is always room to improve just as in other places in Burma.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place, and reasonably priced. The place is about 40 meters off the main road, so it's much more quiet. The rooms are decent size, and the water flow is strong. It has hot water! The restaurant at the top floor serves a wide selection of great tasting food. If you're looking for a good place to stay in Sittwe, this is the place for you!
