★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 2 nights; room was very comfortable with a king size bed and lots of windows overlooking mountains. Rooftop eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner - great for watching the gorgeous sunset! The owner, Duzit, speaks perfect English and when we asked her how we could arrange to see the tattoo-faced tribe in their villages, she said only by motorbike and arranged the whole thing for us, including 2 motorbike drivers to take my husband and I up the mountain. She made our trip awesome and the drivers were experienced and careful, taking us to the village museum, the monastery, the nose flute tattoo-faced lady who gave us a performance, and their tribal village. Highly recommend this hotel, even tho there"s no internet service, with few amenities, but their customer service skills make up for it! ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dennis Lane, the owner of the hotel received us. He is a wonderful host. He even helped me to plan my travel further to Rih Dil.
This is the only hotel in Mindat. The rooms are smoking free, infact smoking is punishable at hotel with a fine.
A stay at Mindat was not on my schedule but i opted to stay looking at the place.
Restaurant is just ok enough for light food, which is prepared on demand. Dennis allowed us to cook our breakfast as we had kids used to a particular type.
Highly recommend to stay...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are clean and confortable. You have your ensuite rooms!
The breakfast is served on the roof top, many choices and for vegeterian people like me, possibility to order special meal, very tasty!
For the activities, the hotel can organise you some treks around in the mountains and villages. They are coordinated by a french consultant who knows the region and is able to find the most suitable trek according to your wishes :)
I really enjoyed my stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Mindat is only few accommodation facility hotel in Mindat ,Chin State. Among 10-15 Motel and Guest House in Mindat ,this is newest and best one situated within the city. Place is not so far to Traditional Market and food shop but the location is very quite.There are many big trees ,good location and you can feel free atmosphere ,can watch such kind of different birds.At the evening time ,we can feel the sunset view at the top floor of hotel.
Can visit to Mount Victoria by Car ,visit township tour and sight seeing.Restaurant is opened ,which is prepared on your special ordered.Place is totally quite one ,Service and hospitality is good .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the only decent accommodations in Mindat at the time of writing this. Rooms are clean, the location is decent and just away from the main road so not noisy. Don't expect much in terms of food or perks, but its an OK place to stay during your visit to Mindat, if not the best that is available here.
