★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area is nice if you get to explore it on your own. Don't get to any boat tour, they'll take you to all the possible local business to get some commission of it. I hated that tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place where all trekker have to pay the entrance fee for Inle Lake zone which is 10 $ or the equivalent amount in kyats. The entrance fee is valid for only 5 days. The validity of the zone fee is changing over time. As the tourists continue, there is the check points again near tone lae jetty for trekkers. The person at the check point check the ticket and sign it, then return it to the tourists. It's important not to loose the tickets.
