I love to buy stuffs here but this market still needs to improve its infrastructure to be easy to buy and sell stuffs for both customers and sellers.

Wet market, fruits, vegetables, flowers, etc..., ease transportation, close to downtown.

If you are in Dawei... make the effort and go here eary in the morning (before breakfast). around 6am this place is bustling...Its acroos the roads from the river jetties that lead out to the sea.....full of colour and sounds and activity .... and frankly no really stinky smells. The fresh seafood is wet and shining and...well...fresh! the seafood vendors are yelling out their prices to get customers, and you get to watch how quickly they chop, weigh, sort, sell and distribute this shiny wet silver bounty to not just Dawei but the nearby villages. Ther are also lots of fruit and vegie markets and you can buy local fresh fruits cheaply with a smile and a point. All around the jetty side of the road ferry boats of a sizes and shapes are waiting to take people with thei full market baskets bck home up or down the river. Evenif you dont buy anything it is worth a look...then go home and have breakfast.

Along the Strand road of Dawei, this market is situated. It is good for shipping marine food and products.

Outstanding selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, exotic fresh flowers, and many foods. New riverfront promenade under construction. Especially good at night.
