★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best resort in Myeik.Good Poolside(Make use outside table, but I wish it have coktail menu and better dishes). Kind and passionate staff, especially Manager. Some Far from downtown but no problem(Tuktuk is available). And they give Pickup servise from(to) airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no concierge to offload luggages on arrival and yet there were steep stairs to climb to the lobby entrance. The distance from the reception to the room was extremely long walk, especially with luggages and bags. There were no pillow cases on the pillows when we first arrived. There was a half-drunk water bottle left behind on the night table. There was no safe in the room so we asked the front desk to give us one. The one that they brought was not working. Mosquitoes constantly bitting us all night. TV was not working. After they fixed the TV, there were only channels from Thailand only. Furnitures were very dusty inside the room and there were empty plastic bottles and garbage all around the hotel which is built on the mangroves swamp land. That was our experience and you decide if you want to stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As far as I can tell, this is certainly by far the best hotel in Myeik and it's immediate surrounding areas. Beautiful views too. Though unfortunately, an ugly over ambitious Chinese built condo project is going up nearby that will ruin some of the tranquility of Myeik, it won't affect the view from the Pearl Laguna Resort, which is a plus.
Originally, we were supposed to stay here, but I decided to choose another hotel based purely on that hotel having slightly better reviews. What a big mistake that was - you can't always go by the reviews - turns out that particular hotel has a major moth ball problem and a horrible stale smell in the guest rooms. On other other hand, this hotel looks delightful. We came in for a drink in the morning before leaving town, the Thai staff were friendly and helpful and our drinks were delicious, and of course we loved the view! Only downside is that there are no beaches in Myeik you have to go to the islands. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to the area.
