★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the middle of May, I ventured out to Yangon-Myanmar, to visit some longtime friends. I had done some research and noticed that Myanmar is the country with the nicest ruby's. The famous "imperial pigeon Blood." ruby is perhaps the most sought after. The question that came up though, where to buy rubies and know that you have a trusted seller. A friend pointed me to the shops at the Gems Museum.
I went to see the shops and found the Kaung Sint Yadanar Gems & Jewellery. They have a wide selection of gems, and I concluded that Ruby's are nor cheap, ha! I was able to bargain with them though and when all was done and said I had a ruby ring, a sapphire ring, and an emerald bracelet.
The whole process of looking and dealing happened amicably. I was offered a light snack and coffee and gave me a beautiful frame as a gift. I can highly recommend the Kaung Sint Yadanar Gems & Jewellery shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is located at the building just beside the Myanmar Gems Museum. It is air condition inside the building. There are many jewellery and gems shops. It has 3 floors full of jewellery and gems shop. There is no entrance fee for this. Open from 9am to 5pm daily expect Monday. A place to visit for gems lovers.
