Professional, generous and reliable The day we arrived in Kalaw we went to the office and got all the information for the next day for our three day two nights trek to the Inle Lake.They also brought us then to our hotel and picked us up the next morning on time. We have been a small group and walked a lovely path through great nature and some local villages where we were welcomed very warmly.During the trek we saw incredible sights, local life, and even got to play soccer with some kids in the local monastery that we were passing through.If you want a trek off the beaten paths, this is just the agency you need. We haven't met a single tourist in 3 days.The guide was always up for fun. He also was very attentive. The food was fantastic and always a lot! We don’t wanna miss the 3 days - we’ve learned a lot about the Burmese culture. I definitely would recommend this trek for anyone else travelling in Myanmar. Went on the 3D/2N trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake with a group of 4 people and it was amazing! A must-do while in Myanmar! Our brilliant guide Kamel and chef U Taung Yoe made it an unforgettable experience! Kamel is very knowledgeable and a great company! He was always ready to answer our questions and teach us more about the Burmese culture. At the same time he was also interested to know about us, generating an interesting exchange of ideias. In addition, he has a great sense of humor which made the whole trek a lot more fun! Chef U Taung Yoe was also very friendly and kind. The food he prepared was perfect, the best food I had while in Myanmar! He always made sure we had a lot of food available. The trek goes through the countryside and rural villages. In the villages we had the chance to interact with local people and learn about their lifestyle. The contact we had with the locals was genuine and we were always received with joy and smiles. This agency takes a off the beaten path route, so we almost saw no tourists, which was great! I definitely recommend doing this trek with Ko Min and, if you can, with Kamel as your guide. Amazing trekking experience with Leo and Ye Linn - the dream team We had our trek (3 days/2nights) and it has been amazing how Leo explain all the cultural aspects and allow us to get involved in the Burmese culture. He is very well prepared, not only guiding but also knows a lot about the culture and how things are done in Myanmar. During our trek he shows how local families live , introduce us to locals, explain about the manufacture of sugar, cigars , and others things. During the night he made us feel really like at home, explaining and introducing to the welcome families. Breakfast, lunch and dinners has been also an extraordinary part of the journey, Ye Linn has always prepare plentiful and super tasty dishes. Had the most amazing one day trek here, really the highlight of our trip. It was incredibly great value for money, around 7US$ each, with a beautiful lunch provided, including a platter of fruits. We became great friends with our guide Ye Lay, and he even showed us a bar in Kalaw that evening! Could not recommend this company enough.

Probably our favorite experience in Myanmar! We booked online couple of months before getting to Myanmar based on the reviews from TP. We spent 3D2N walking (~20km a day) from Kalaw to Inle Lake going through the country side. From pine woods to rice fields, the landscape is beautiful. You will cross several villages, interact with local families, sleep in their houses etc Leo, our guide, was excellent! Made our trip unforgettable. There is also a chef that travels with you. He will drive from one place to another and made sure you have plenty of food for lunch and dinner. The food was also incredibly good! Above Burmese standards! Do not hesitate and book!

We did the 2 day trekking with Ko Min from Kalaw to Inlay lake, with one night stopover in a monestary. Certainly one of the best experiences in our Myanmar visit. Nice landscape, very very nice local people we met on the way and Ko Min was an awesome guide, knowledgeable of everything we needed to know. Plenty of food on the way (midday, night, morning).

Recently, I embarked on the three day, two night trek booked through Ko Min. It was a rich experience. Our guides, Sounar and Leo were outstanding. They were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Throughout the trek, they shared information about plants, animals, local tribes and customs, and historical tidbits about Myanmar. We chose the off the beaten path route which included many hills and beautiful scenery. Each day, we were given the opportunity to interact with locals. At night, we stayed at homestays. Ko Min's company works with multiple families in the village to ensure spreading the wealth and not overloading one family. They also make donations to the villages to benefit the whole community. Further, they change their routes in order to ensure that the village's culture is not diminished by an ongoing flood of tourists. I appreciated both the company's and our guides' dedication to leading treks using a sustainable model. Ko Min hired a chef, Ye Lin Pyin, to prepare meals throughout the three days. He is an incredibly talented chef, and it allowed additional ease during the trek as we weren't worried about staying healthy. The food that Ye Lin Pyin prepared was the best food of our whole two week vacation. Ko Min was professional. While their treks are a bit more expensive than other companies, it is well worth the additional cost. I strongly recommend trekking with Sounar, Leo, and Ye Lin Pyin through Ko Min, and if I return to Kalaw in the future, it would be an honor to trek with them again. Me and my gf did a 3 days/2 nights trek from Kalaw to Inle lake with Ko Min Kalaw Trekking Service. We were joined by two more persons (the loveliest couple ever) and payed 75$ per person. From start to the end I can only say good things about the experience. The trek is not difficult by any means if you are used to walk. Even so, during steeper sections the guide gives sufficient time to catch your breath. The views of the mountains and farms are splendid, but the best part of this trek is definitely the contact with the local villages. The farmers and villagers we met along the way are some of the nicest people I have met in my life and it was a joy seeing how they live and spend some time with them. The team that accompanied us was absolutely phenomenal. The guide, Kamel, is experienced and always made us feel safe. He shared a lot of insight regarding the burmese culture and is a great person to discuss interesting subjects, such as religion, society and sports. He is a joy to be with and I find great pleasure in calling him a friend after the journey. The (master)chef, U Taung Yoe, is a master of his craft and super friendly. Every meal he made a delicious banquet with a variety of food, taking with immense importance cleanness, as well as our food restrictions. Enjoying his meals and finishing the day sharing a drink with him were for sure highlights of the trek. To conclude, I highly recommend doing the trek with this company and have to thank them for providing us a experience we will never forget.
