★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kyaukroe (Village) Monastery is located in middle of Ramree Island and it is included in Kyaukpyu Township of Arakan. The monastery on the top of the mountain is surrounded with many big different types of trees. If you want to visit there, you may get off at Zinchaung Village wich is situated on the main road of Yangon Kyaukpyu. In the summer you can come by car or motorcycle, but not in the rainny season. So, it can be said the village is located in remote area and the villagers are poor; however, they are very friendly.
