★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive large pagoda similar in structure to the Mingun pahtodawgyi located in Inwa. A large portion of the pagoda has collapse during a massive earthquake in the late 19th century, but the remaining structure is still worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is such a beautiful place with wonderful architecture. I visited this place with my Myanmar, Indonesian, and Cambodian friends on Saturday, 24 February 2018. At that time, there was also couples who were taking pictures for pre-wedding. Just my suggestion, I think it would be better if government or other departments in Myanmar who are being holder of Archaeological sites pay attention to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has fewer people at it, than the pagodas and temples, but was worth the 5 minutes we spent there on our tour of Inn Wa. You can go 'inside' and climb around. The different levels of repair and decay are beautiful to see together and interesting as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beauty of some of the older pagodas in Myanmar attest to a glorious past. Even in its state of disrepair, Lay Htat Gyi is beautiful and hard to forget. Its architecture is grand and the wall carvings are intricately beautiful.
