Rooms are clean and nice. Owner is the most helpful and friendly person. We loved our stay there.

Perfect place to escape the relatively high tourist prices charged by the hotels. Five minute walk to Ngapali Beach and ten minutes walk to Linthar Beach. Unless you 'need' to stay on the beach, stay here. Plus you can rent bicycles and e-bikes (electric scooters) across the road. There are a couple good restaurants towards Linthar Beach.

Enjoyed my stay at May 18 a lot. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive with any matter you have. The location is good, only a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Guesthouse is clean with attached bath, wifi available. Very polite & friendly staffs.english speaking owner is very attentive to my needs, accede to my request for an early check in. Good & fairly priced seafood restaurants just across Guesthouse & a minute walk. Beautiful beach is within 5 minutes walk from Guesthouse. I would reccomend my friends to stay here. I would gave May 18 Guesthouse a 10/10 rating.

If you are traveling and looking for a nice - not- expensive-and familiar spot - you should go there in ngapali- ok it’s at the street .. but in the night there’s no street noise - and the rooms to other side aren’t noisy - nice breakfast- good support for your plans and trips - and some really nice people there - (guests and stuff -) good vibes - good experience- it’s 7000 from airport..by taxi e bike rental is possible ( 10000 per day) .. the beds are really very comfortable... fridge is missing - but exactly opposite the street is a store - and you also get cool drinks in the guesthouse - and you have two bottles 1L water every day . Beach is 3 min down the road behind bayview Resort.. there are some nice beaches if you go back north direction airport.

So we've spend 4 nights at the May18 Guest House. In my opinion one of the best options to stay. If I could rate more than 5 stars, believe me I would! If I really wanted to say something negative... - 3 minutes walk to the beach - doesn't matter!! - Wi-Fi connection inside out room was pretty bad but you can sit in front and do your stuff while having a cup of tea or coffee ................................................. ................................................. But - super nice family, supporting you with any issue. Booking a bus, calling the airline to cancel our flight (we made a mistake and booked a flight to an area we better should not go to -good that she told us) - organizing a scooter (ebike) for a good price (10k for one day - bringing the scooter and picking it up again from the hotel) - organizing a new scooter and somebody to pick us up when the battery run out if power in the middle of nowhere ??? - telling us where to find nice places to go - giving us advice where to get good local food Even the people we met, who where staying directly at the beach for a whole heap of money (60 to 105 USD per night) have been a jealous when we told them about our service and the kindness of our hosts. My girlfriend even got a birthday cake ?
