★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did it. Long.10 hrs. 23km per hr. Don't make the mistake to sit on top deck. HOT after 10am and for 7 long hours. Breakfast banana egg 2 Danish pastries. Good lunch. Coffee and water. Bring a book or a laptop and a fully charged phone although you can charge on board downstairs deck. Do it towards Bagan downstream faster.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trip from Bagan to Mandalay is interesting, but LONG (11 hrs or so). Take a book, and something warm to wear, the breeze gets cold. staff are lovely and the breakfast box and lunch are a nice touch. The cold beer for sale was a nice surprise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used their services from Mandalay to Bagan. Boat left on time (check-in at 6:30, departure at 7am).
Cruise was easy-peasy and hassle-free, coffee served on board was good, meals were good, although maybe a little bit "light" for an adult man, bring some snack and you will be alright. Clean toilets ! Arrival at around 16:30, All good. Bring some layers, it can be cold in the morning with some wind.
I remove 1 star because of the jetty in Bagan: several lengths of 1-plank-wide pass, quite tricky for older people or people with heavy suitcase. Of course for about 2000 kyat/bag you will be helped... At 42USD/person, they could build a proper way to disembark, but I am sure it pleases more the local helpers this way...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the boat from Mandalay to Bagan. Boat brings you from A to B, but don't expect comfortable seats. Toilet on board is ok. Breakfast tasteless, lunch was ok (dry rice, chicken leg, some beans and noodles). Tasteless nescafe coffee was only available at set times, for the rest it was possible to buy semi cold drinks from a refrigerator. The stop half way is just a poor riverside village. Don't expect nice views from the boat, it's more or less the same the whole way.
It does bring you from A to B though, but if that's what you want you can also consider car (much faster).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the trip from Bagan to Mandalay at it was very pleasant. They serve a simple breakfast and in our case a really good lunch. It was definitely a good experience - it was really long and can get boring, but we knew that before so we brought books.
The only downside is the chairs on the upper deck... they are not horrible but I was glad to get out of them after a 10 hour trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and very nice alternative to the bus. Breakfast, lunch and unlimited tea and coffee provided. You can buy cold beer on board. The journey is long, but you are aware of it beforehand, so take a good book with you and enjoy it. Take a coat, because it's cold in the morning. Blankets provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very good day trip from Bagan to Mandalay. Trip starts early in the morning but when you see the sunrise on Irrawady it is worth it. Price was 32,- USD / person. Breakfast, good lunch and afternoon-coffee included. Ship is in good condition, seats are comfy.
