★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 3 days / 2 nights trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake, and it was a wonderful experience.
We met Monjo at the beginning, he took our bags to bring them directly to Inle Lake. Our guide was named Thu, a close friend of Monjo, he told us a lot about Myanmar ! This is definitely the way to learn deeply how a country works. Thu was very nice and cooked very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had one of Monjo’s friends called Thu guide us for a day walking in the hills around Inle Lake. Picked us up from our hotel and provided one of the best home cooked lunches we had in Myanmar in a local’s home up in one of the mountain villages then ended our day with a boat ride back to Nyaung Shwe. Thu was a great guide and lovely person to learn more about Myanmar from.
