★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife was taken to this hospital after having a scooter accident, since they do have an X-ray here. However, even after confirming a broken leg and administering a cast, we weren't given any anti-thrombosis (or any other, for that matter) medication, as is standard in our country. And they recommended to take the cast off in 4-6 weeks (no check-ups??).
Furthermore, after coming home, we've shown the X-ray taken here to local hospital staff and all of them laughed & promptly made a new one. Turns out the "not so complicated singular fracture" was more like "pretty complicated multi-fracture with a need of an operation if you want to be able to walk on this leg again".
In addition to all of this, we were charged $162 for our troubles ($100 consultant fee - a dude in a sweater came and said "yup, it's broken"), whereas in all the other Myanmar hospitals we've visited (for said check-ups and medication) the cost was ~$10.
Takeaway: If your life's not in danger, skip this place and just go somewhere reputable in Mandalay or Yangon.
