★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing don’t miss it! We were told by a local this was a place where we could waste an hour before heading to the airport. It should be at the top of your visits list! The owner took us to the back shop gave us a 30 minute tour. He explained first how they make their lacquer, then he showed us every station along the way and that it takes WEEKS to make each piece. INCREDIBLE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Off the road lacquer wear workshop. The owner was very friendly and explained in detail regarding the process of manufacturing. We even got to see the underground chamber used in drying the lacquer wear. After understanding the process where it takes literally 6months to make a item it's understandable it's pricey. The items are all beautiful but it's mainly ornamental. It can be scratched. It can't be used in a microwave or dishwasher. It can hold cooked hot items but since it's so decorative it would be a waste. But seriously super experience and all prices in USD. If your really serious in buying he can easily help ship the items to you if it's huge items like cabinets that fancies your interest.
