★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thura fut mon guide à travers les montagnes aux nord de Kyaukme. 3 jours et 2 nuits à sillonner les chemins, visiter les villages à la rencontre des habitants et à apprendre les eusses et coutumes locales. Thura sait et partagera, dans un train bon français et un train bon anglais, ce fut un réel plaisir d'échanger et une réelle découverte. Il connait bien la région et beaucoup de ses habitants, donc vous n'avez qu'à vous laisser guider, poser des questions et vous émerveiller.
Attention toutefois : il s'agit d'une zone à tension politique ou la présence rebelle ne passe pas inaperçue. Pas de souci a priori mais soyez mesurés dans vos faits et gestes s'ils croisent votre chemin.
Thura was my guide through the mountains north of Kyaukme. 3 days and 2 nights to wander the paths, visit the villages to meet the locals and learn the local customs and customs. Thura knows and will share, in a good French train and a good English train, it was a real pleasure to exchange and a real discovery. He knows the region well and many of its inhabitants, so you just have to let yourself be guided, ask questions and marvel.
Be careful though: this is an area of political tension where the rebel presence does not go unnoticed. No worries a priori but be measured in your actions and gestures if they cross your path.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben mit Thura eine 3 Tage, 2 Nächte Tour gemacht. Es war super. Wir sind mit den Motoroller zu abgelegenen Dörfern gefahren, haben ein kurzes Trekking gemacht und konnten waren Teil vom Dorfleben. Die Übernachtungen in den Homestays waren sehr authentisch und wir fühlten uns willkommen bei der Familie. So lernten wir hautnah das Leben ausserhalb der grösseren Städte kennen.
Vielen Dank Thura für die tolle Zeit. Wir können die Trips mit Thura jedem empfehlen der nicht nur das touristische Myanmar kennenlernen möchte.

We did a 3 days, 2 nights tour with Thura. It was great. We drove the motor scooters to remote villages, did a short trekking and were part of the village life. The nights in the homestays were very authentic and made us feel welcome with the family. This is how we got to know life outside the bigger cities.
Thank you Thura for the great time. We can recommend the trips with Thura to anyone who wants to get to know not only the tourist Myanmar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a 2 days trekking with Thura. That was honestly a increadible experience ! The 2 days was a combination of walk and motorbike, the best option to go as far as possible in the deep and true Myanmar. We slept in a mountain village in the house of a traditional family of Palaung people. The food, water, motorbike, the accommodation and the smile, all was include in the price ! We've been in different ethnic villages and seen amazing landscapes and peoples. Thura speak a perfect english, he can speak the local languages (Chan, birman, Palaung) and surprise : French! For sure one of the best trek we did, especially for the fact that we was out of the touristic classic way. It allowed us to see the authentic Myanmar that we expected. We clearly recommend this guide !
