The location is different now. The theatre moved to another place. New address is somewhere on 66th street, between 10 and 11 or 11 and 12 streets. Very close to the entrance to the mandalay hill (the one with two big lions).

I loved this show! It was so sweet! It was also funny! A very special experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very enjoyable show. The marionettes are wonderful and the marionettists are more than skilled. Most of the time during the show you see only the marionettes and from time to time they let also see the people operating them. Fantastic! I loved to see that also young people are learning this art and very talented.
The owner of the place also offers English lessons to youngsters and they can practice with the tourists for 30 minutes before the show. Very nice initiative.

Even if it might seem childish or silly to you, this kind of primitive traditional entertainment you can't find in many places anymore and it is an important part of Myanmar culture and history. The team does a great job to welcome you and make you feel at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting. Great way to spend an hour. Learn a bit about the marionette trade, as well as performance. Very nice people, small theater. Seats are a little hard, so you may want a small pillow. They provide water and parking available, also hôtel pick-up if needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the show which lasted almost an hour. It is something I hadn't seen before, and found it very entertaining. The marionettes were very well made and the staff very experienced in moving them.
