★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A new restaurant/beer station in the town. Couples of sea food to choose from. Service is good but average to poor beer selection, I think they only have 2 or 3 beers to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What!? We were driving our motorbike randomly around Dawei and decided to stop for a beer. Bam! Saw the Black Shield draught sign and pulled in here. Ordered a broccoli stirfry appetizer... Wow.. so good! Then decided to order a couple more things...watercress (I think) and a fried pork dish. Amazing. HOT, tasty and quick. Draught beer was COLD. We love the random and this place delivered. No English menu but the owner spoke a bit. Just pick something... It's all good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a restaurant located in expanded part of Dawei. Its compound is broad, clean and nice place decorated by natural resources like bamboo tables, benches & roof. The front view is under the green trees. Foods are delicious including seafoods, barbecue ( only at night) and the price is cheap. You can taste different types of beers and whiskeys.
