★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's mosquito-ridden and kinda pricy (5/6000 for a cup/mug) but a fun experience nonetheless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really fun place to visit in Yangon and search for a unique momento. Worthy of tourist support after being devastated by a cyclone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and one of the historical record still live there. You can see how glass work are done professionally at that time. A great place to visit.
Ko Aung Gyi, my friend who is the eldest son of the Factory owner, who is very kind and well known person of that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is interesting and full of mosquitoes and strange. A former glass factory, the price of gas and destruction from cyclones have crippled it, there is glass to go through and you can find wonderful things there. Well worth a visit, but take bug spray.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really interesting experience! If you want to do somthing memorable and a little bit different in Yangon this is for you. The factory used to make artisan, hand blown glass until a combination of political turbulance and the 2008 cyclone left it where it is now. The family have had a rough decade and this is their silver lining. Sort through the wreckage and salvage what you want to buy- the glass is all handmade and often coloured. There are mosquitos so bring repellant and wear long sleeves, we didnt see a singe dog (but a few friendly cats) and of course there is broken glass but not on the walkways so just be a sensible normal person and avoid it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very unique experience walking and digging through countless pieces of colorful glass from once the premiere and the first hand-blown glass factory right in the heart of Yangon which has now turned into a broken glass jungle after the country was badly hit by Cyclone Nargis in 2008.
I was able to bring home to the Philippines very nice and colorful pieces. Make sure to wear proper shoes and be mindful of every step. One of the owner’s sons is still there and would tell you their beautiful story - The Shards of the Past. I like their cat named Smokey too. By the way, you can ask them to polish the pieces for you.
The best way to get there is via the help of Google since the locals can hardly speak English and they don’t seem to know if the place are accepting visitors...They still do.
