Most tourists can take a three-hour car ride from the capital Naypyidaw since the waterfall itself is actually located eastward in the township of Pinlaung, the southern Shan state's Pa-O Self-administered District. Waterfall is a headline act, and it doesn't make you disappointed for sure. Simply calling Nant Mon Gyi a waterfall does not do justice to it — the straightforward definition is too much short of catching the size, the majesty, the pure magnificence of the location that it is virtually a misnomer.
