★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only hotel in town. Avoid If you can. If coming from isle lake on bike try to make it to the next town before mandalay 1.5 hours to the west. Or make it to Lashio. Hotel is cash only 20,000 for a fan only room. Another review said they spent all the money on the exterior and the lobby. I can definitely agree with that. I’ve risen 2500km in Myanmar this trip and this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. They even tried to charge me for a hand towel that I got dirty. No idea how to treat tourists to their city. Only stay here if you absolutely have to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only hotel in the town. I feel like they blew most of their budget on exterior and lobby decors and have little left for actual rooms. Service is bad because they only have a handful of staff who have to attend to everything(from cashier to plumbing, evth is done by one person when we were there). Rooms doesn't feel clean and there are cockroaches inside. Walls are not clean and plumbing is bad. The only thing I liked about this hotel was the lobby decor and the breakfast.
Price is okay for locals but i don't know how much they charge tourists.
With that said, this is the only hotel in town so you'll have no choice but to stay there if you intend to spend the night in Naunghkio. There are a few motels and guesthouses but they would suck.
