★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is great, in center. The employees there were kind and very helpful with where to go, when and costs for transportation, etc. Not enough English but possible to communicate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will return to stay again before we fly home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need to climb the flights of old wooden stairs up to 3rd storey.
Stair entrance is from a photocopy machine store.
The rooms are all windowless, wall quite thin. Can hear clearly what the next door's talking. Bathrooms looks clean but very old. Many ants path, perhaps is due to be an old building.
Breakfast is same as per photos shown on booking website. Breakfast area is just beside the reception, which is the common area. Wifi pretty weak in room.
All the male staffs are friendly and helpful.
Rate is low, considering the location very near to Sule pagoda.

In the bottom line - a great value for money. Best part is location. Transportation to the city and touring is just around the corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being in the heart of downtown gave us the opportunity to explore the city. The traffic is easy to navigate. The room we stayed in was clean. Local people are very friendly and helpful up to the limits of language. The breakfast is basic as well, but is included.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made a reservation directly with the hotel to stay the same day there. We left our bags there and the staff reassured us to put them into the room once it frees up after 12pm. When we returned at night they told us that the hotel is suddenly full. They changed us to another hotel located 20 minutes walking further away (it turns out we could not sleep at all due to the extremely loud noise there). As it was a public holiday, all hotels were already full and we had to accept this bad trade.
The staff told us they would also not have made a difference if we had booked it online.
If you book here, please make sure that they give you the room keys so this does not happen to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms here are exceptionally small. The windowless rooms have frosted glass doors. A good breakfast is included in the rate. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There's even halal briyani shop nearby. Hotel is not far from a railway station. We did not use this option because time was not appropriate for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here while at a convention. Summary: Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room itself was a really good size. The best part is the convenience. The location of the hotel is second to none. Definetly a good base for exploring the city. Breakfast is basic as are the showers.
