★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for steak and pork chops. All priced at 8500kyats. Kitchen close 10:30pm. They also have pasta and sandwiches. Pork chop was yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onyx or “Onyx Wine Tree” was recommended to us by a friend and we found that really worth going and enjoyable.
Located in a nice and “formerly “ green neighborhood of Yangon, the restaurant is found to be calm and cozy. The ambiance is relaxing and semi dark.
Onyx is known for its stakes and cocktails but the menu is not limited to those only.
We ordered the farmers stake (Myanmar beef), fish and chips, tomato feta salad and a drink. The test, preparation and serving was really good.
In terms of the cost, it’s really worth the price, though a bit higher than Myanmar average of course. The menu photos are shared with this review but don’t forget to add around 10% for tax and service charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time on this place, but felt good. Perfect for bookworms like me as they have an area for reading materials while waiting for your orders to be served. Love the foods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expected a better dining experience. Not impressed with the interior decoration. The windows were covered with plastic wraps and the paper room dividers had holes in them. The toilet was shabby and it felt like we were in a diner and not a restaurant that offers fine cuisine. The in house red wine was terrible, with a strong smell of nail polish. The steak was too rare for a medium-rare order. It tasted good tho. Wouldn’t consider going for a second time. The staff was welcoming and offered good service tho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better place in steak offering in terms of value for money. I tried local Tenderloin steak for medium rare and it didn't disappoint. They also have some wine pairing to go with it. The manager and wait staffs are quite knowledgeable on the menu offerings.
The restaurant theme is modernized industrial design using woods and raw steel and iron decor.
The atmosphere is usually nice and quite for most of the time I visited but not this time unfortunately.
There is crowd or 10 to 15 foreigners getting drunk and making loud noises. I would consider this place is fine dinning and the experience needs to be preserved as this is not a bar or a club. They are speaking some loud south asian dialect. I am also surprised that the restaurant management didn't do anything about it.
Nevertheless, I would go there again for steak with hope of not ended up in the experience like my last visit.

Parking - about 8 card inside the lot and a few on the street
