★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「ミャンマー料理」ではなく「カレン料理」が食べられる、真のローカルフードレストラン。野菜と香草を煮込んだカレンのスープ「タラボゥ」もある。
ただ、全体的に青唐辛子による味付けが辛過ぎて、私の口にはまったく合わなかった。タラボゥも他店で食べたものよりは香草の匂いがきつく、あまり美味しく感じなかった。だが、これこそがローカルフードなんだろう。見た目は付け合わせの生野菜以外は全体的に「茶色」で、食欲もいまひとつ進まない。
「カレン料理」を体験してみたいという人にのみオススメする。
A true local food restaurant where you can eat “Karen” instead of “Myanmar”. There is also Karen's soup “Tarabo”, stewed with vegetables and herbs.
However, the seasoning with green chili peppers was too spicy and it did not fit my mouth at all. Tarabo also smelled more herbal than what I ate at other stores and didn't feel so delicious. But this is probably the local food. It looks “brown” as a whole, except for the fresh vegetables, and the appetite isn't progressing.
Recommended only for people who want to experience “Karen Cuisine”.
