★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La pagoda Phayani era una delle 84.000 pagode costruite dal re Thiri Dhamma Thawka. Originariamente era alto solo 12 cubiti. Si trova tra l'81^ e l'82^ Strade e tra la 19^ e 22^ strade. È così chiamato perché il luogo era tutto rosso dall'atmosfera e il potere della pagoda alla sua consacrazione. Si chiamava anche Thitsanandi Phayani. Nei tempi antichi la gente veniva qui per fare giuramenti, per testimoniare in tribunale. Si credeva che dire falsità dopo i giuramenti facessero male ai commentatori. Era anche chiamata Pagoda di Kyan-kaing Mi-pyaing.
 The Phayani pagoda was one of the 84,000 pagodas built by King Thiri Dhamma Thawka. Originally it was only 12 cubits high. It is located between the 81st and 82nd Streets and between the 19th and 22nd streets. It is so called because the place was all red from the atmosphere and the power of the pagoda to its consecration. It was also called Thitsanandi Phayani. In ancient times people came here to take oaths, to testify in court. It was believed that saying falsehood after oaths hurt commentators. It was also called the Kyan-kaing Mi-pyaing Pagoda.
