★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used their laundry. It was the most expensive laundry (3000 Ks per kilo) we used in 6 months in SE Asia (also the most expensive in Myanmar). And apparently the quality was the worst. Nobody bothered to fold the clothes properly, so what we got was very crumpled clothes. Like you pulled it from the cows butt. Don’t go there. The worst price/quality ratio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rent a bicycle here only if you have no choice.
We rented two bicycles while receiving very rude service from the staff ordering us to fill form for him in very impolite manner, and requesting us to pay and give the ID while we even have no idea what kind of bicycles we gonna have or the conditions/time to return/etc.
When we ask to test the bike, what we have is just rude and unwilling response. And as expected the bicycles are ill-maintained. I got one which make terribly unpleasant noise when braking which shows the bicycle have not been maintained probably since it arrived Burma from Japan. And the bottom hub is wore off. The staff has no response hearing the sound and say it is good. And this is the best bicycle they have because others are just non-functioning, such as broken brakes. As a bicycle lover who assemble bikes by myself occasionally, I believe the basic ethic for bicycle business is to make sure it is up to safety standard, ie make sure the brakes and wheels are fine to be on the road. And definitely it is not the case in this shop.
The rental fee each bicycle is 3000ks/day, which is good while also common in Mandalay. There are quite a few bicycle rental shops in Mandalay offering the same price. E.g. I rented one from Honey Home Bike, much better in every aspect. So, why pay for something so unpleasant? You can make your choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Thai food and generous portions. We had the mango and green tomato salads which were great and a ginger lemon honey drink which was very refreshing. For takes a bit long to come but it's well worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and quaint restaurant owned by a friendly Sri Lankan antiquities dealer - the restaurant is filled with Burmese treasures. Open early for breakfast so come here if you've arrived to early to check in to your hotel. Food is ok but pricey for the tiny portions (be aware french toast is literally one piece of toast so order more as the food takes a fair while). Useful point to note - you can book taxis, tours and buses at really reasonable prices here (we booked our Bagan bus trip and a really cheap tuk tuk to Mandalay hill)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not your usual Thai restaurant. It's a one stop shop with a restaurant upstairs. Great concept. You can get tour tickets, shop for all items related to Thailand at the shop below.
I read about the food in this restaurant in Trip Advisor, that they serve authentic Thai cuisine. I ordered the pad tai. Tastes ok to me as I am not a fan of pad tai. The restaurant has unusual decor. The dining table is a glass top where you can see the various items of display and perhaps can purchase if you like.
