Red House Bar & Restaurant

We just had time for a coffee here, unfortunately. Lots of tourists here days a lot about the range and quality here. I'm a fussy coffee drinker, and this coffee is superb!! Northern Shan organic coffee made on an Italian machine. A rate find in these parts!!

I didn't have the pizza hut my friends described it as legit. The wood fired oven is outside so you can see it going. Draft beer is good and cold with plenty of options and a big pool table. Nice Italian place in the most unexpected location.

Pizza was really good by anyones standard. I don’t think you would find a better pizza place in Myanmar, it’s a rare gem. The lighting/setting is perfect. The staff are really nice and attentive. I had the large grilled chicken pizza and asked for some fresh chillies on top, it was delicious. Only mild concern was that they should maybe scrap the large pizza (1,500 extra) option as the mediums are nearly the same size so probably best save the money.

Wonderful menu, mind blowing pizza, if i start describing you'll have water drooling from mouth. Thin and crispy base with lots of toppings and lots more fresh cheese. If you are in kalaw for one meal you must try this place and second time you automatically step in here. Interior is beautiful. Very peaceful with almost all the foreigners around

The most Italian thing about this place is prices. Food is of German quality at most. My lasagna was sweet, dry from freezing and re-heating it and burnt on the edges. Ravioli was a bit better but at least it tasted more fresh. The best was the simple tomato pasta we ordered for our kid. The restaurant has a nice ambience though and the service is fine. I’ve heard their pizza is good but they’re not serving it for lunch.

Excellent quality food ! It is incredible but here you find the real Italian pizza cooked with wood oven. Not only Italian but also shan food is very good so restaurant is for all. Upstairs there is also a beautiful viepoint on Pagoda. The quality is granted by Paolo the Italian owner that is also an agronomist that can check high quality of ingredients. Currently at Yangon there is not a pizza like that one of Paolo. Staff is very good managed by the wife of Paolo. Italians do it better :)

Really good Italian kitchen. Excellent Pizza and Pasta. Attentively Service and a nice terrace to sit and eat (upstairs). Prices are a little bit higher than usual. We recommend this place

Very good food. Takes 30-45 min for some dishes to prepare and hard to get tables in peak seasons. But worth waiting. Place your order in one go and keep reminding the waiter. Highly recommended.
