★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view restaurant, located on the bank of Kaladan estuary. Can feel quiet environment and fresh atmosphere. Especially, I do fall in love that place for the variety of fresh sea foods and salads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bearing in mind we are in Sittwe, from my 2 or 3 visits to RV I'd say that it rates fairly well. The food I've tried has been OK, the service fine, staff are very pleasant, no problem with the local Myanmar beer. Bottled! But, hey! It's cold. There's a few quite spacious seating areas to choose from. It's pleasant. River Valley is run with a bit of business sense, which is more than can be said for some of the other places around. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ View is best restaurant feature. Food was just OK. Our waiter clearly dislikes Americans, we waited nearly an hour before being served. Noodles were mushy and loaded with insects of unknown origins. Were they part of the meal or planted by the surly waiter? A cobra was a fright as it chased a very large rodent through the restaurant. All in all, a memorable meal.
